Lead Interior Designer

Alchemy Design Studio, Inc. located in downtown Asheville, NC is a full service interior design firm. Our residential and commercial projects are led by a commitment to our clients and our community. We are looking for a full time Lead Interior Designer with the following qualifications:

• 8 years of experience preferred in high end residential and commercial interior design
• 4 years of ArchiCAD software knowledge but will consider AutoCAD
• Skilled in leading projects from design development to completion
• Able to gracefully lead meetings and work directly with clients and team members
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, contractors, vendors and team members including architects
• Able to produce construction documents, including electrical plans, space planning, elevations, and details
• Well versed in residential and commercial product lines of building / interior materials and furniture, including soft goods, case goods, fabrics, lighting, etc.
• Skilled in all aspects of product procurement, including logistics, delivery, receiving, installation, etc.
• Able to handle fast paced environment
• Able to have diplomacy with clients under pressure
• Possess great customer service skills
• Extremely organized and skilled at time management
