GOLD IS HERE!
The 2008 Southern Living Idea House received an official Gold level certification from USGBC's LEED For Homes program along side the Gold NC Healthy Built Homes rating. The Idea House is one of only two LEED certified residential homes in North Carolina, and the first Gold rated home in NC. Alchemy Design Studio played an integral role in achieving the Gold level certification by selecting green finishes, cabinets, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Many of the finishes were recycled and sourced locally.
